and went to visit Adriana (thank you), Zé Pedro and Luis in Budapeste!
the city is made up of two parts: Buda and Pest:
one very hilly, the other completely flat
each in its side of the river
on saturday we visited Buda (in the rain):
the area of the university, the Gellért Hill, the castle...
and in later we went to the outdoor pools (heated, of course) of Széchenyi!
on sunday we did Pest:http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
the synagogue, the Heroe's Square, the cathedral, the parliament...
and rested because today was a working day!
the grey and brown tones are abundant, dirty and liveless colours
we saw an enormous amount of buildings with beautiful sculpted facades
some maintained, some dirty and somewhat degraded...
and above all we hear an unintelligible language!
one more trip to repeat in spring!!
